Mykola Tomenko: Critical Situation in Kyiv can be settled either by the Authorities, or by the Residents of Kyiv Themselves
Mykola Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, believes that a critical situation in Kyiv can be settled either by the authorities, or by the residents of Kyiv themselves.
Thus, according to M.Tomenko, either The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts a Law on delineation of self-governing and executive authorities of Kyiv authority, or the President of Ukraine dismisses Leonid Chernovetsky from the authorities of a Head of Kyiv City State Administration. "These are possible actions of the authorities, in case they response to the critical situation in Kyiv", - stated the Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Actions of the residents of Kyiv are the other way out, as they can force the team of Leonid Chernovetsky to respond to the non-acceptance of socio-economic wonders of Kyiv authorities by the population".
M.Tomenko believes that the play of M.Starytsky "Za Dvoma Zaiciamy" can be didactic for Leonid Chernovetsky in view of the fact that the monument to Holokhvastov is not far from Kyiv City Council. "The story proves that one can deceive the people several times, worm oneself into their confidence, but the people will sooner or later grow tired of that. The end of the story was miserable for the protagonist, he led his barber´s shop to bankruptcy, and at present Kyiv mayor is trying to lead the whole Kyiv to bankruptcy, and the results can be even worse", - stressed the Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
